Workshop Description:
Negotiations are common in the business world, with all sides looking to gain an advantage over the other. This workshop prepares its participants for the often complicated situations they may find themselves in when attempting to negotiate in a second language. Participants learn commonly used terms and phrases to make negotiating easier for non-native speakers. Case studies are used to give participants a practical understanding of the negotiation process. In addition, various negotiation strategies are discussed so that participants are better prepared to achieve their business goals when faced with real life situations.
